It's Time

The time for the cover reveal is here, and the book is officially available for preorder! Let me tell you all how crazy this week has been. Having a book that is coming out is a nerve-wrecking, emotional rollercoaster that you don't want to get off. I'm so excited, and so nervous. As an author of color, I must say that the imposter syndrome is real. I know how hard I've worked to get to this day, but it doesn't matter when there is a little voice in your head telling you your best might not be good enough.

I share this because maybe I'm not the only one who feels this way. One thing I will say is that I'm telling that little voice to shut the h*** up. This is my time, and I'm going to enjoy it.

Liam's Encounter is the first novella in a four book series. I love this story because it is about duty, honor, and love. The intersectionality of all those things brings so much conflict and tension to the world of this book. I love, love, so anytime I can tell a story that rings true for people, I feel is a success. I know that I have had to make choices in my life between the things I thought I knew and wanted, and actually getting the love I wanted and deserved.
